Tax Director – Senior leadership role within the Tax Division
We are seeking an experienced tax professional to join our mid‑tier firm in a senior leadership role offering exceptional variety and challenge cross difference taxes. This position provides exposure to diverse clients, industries, and complex tax matters across both domestic and international contexts—an opportunity rarely found in highly specialised large firms. You will play a key leadership role in delivering high‑quality tax advisory and compliance services, supporting clients and internal teams, and contributing to business development. With strong technical expertise and a passion for tax, you will mentor and develop talent through coaching and training while managing complex engagements and stakeholder relationships, including the ATO. This role is ideally suited to a high‑performing tax professional with 10+ years’ experience in a Big 4 or mid‑tier firm who is motivated by variety, leadership, and a clear short‑term pathway to partnership.
Senior Tax Analyst - Career Progression Opportunity
This role provides broad exposure to tax work across a diverse range of clients, industries, and domestic and international tax issues within a mid-tier firm environment, offering a level of variety not typically found in highly specialised large firms. The position involves a mix of tax compliance, review of tax provisions and tax-effect accounting entries, and advisory work, with direct client engagement and close collaboration with audit and business advisory teams. It is suited to someone who is passionate about tax and brings strong technical tax knowledge, accounting and financial analytical skills, and a commitment to client service. The ideal candidate will be working toward a CA, CPA, Master of Taxation, CTA, or equivalent qualification, have around two to three years of post-degree Australian corporate tax experience gained in a Big 4, mid-tier, or relevant in-house corporate tax team, demonstrate strong communication skills, a passion for client service, and a genuine desire to learn and continually develop their tax career.
SMSF Intermediate Accountant
UHY Haines Norton has an opening for an SMSF Intermediate Accountant to join our dynamic and growing superannuation division. Minimum 2-3 years' experience in SMSF administration with strong communication skills – written and verbal. Salary levels will be commensurate with experience, education and the ability to display exceptional communication skills. You will also be rewarded with a challenging career.
Business Services Manager
UHY Haines Norton is seeking a motivated and proactive Business Services Manager to join our Business Services team. Working directly with the business services partner to provide a complete compliance and advisory service to our clients you will be CA Qualified, with a minimum 3 years’ experience as a Manager or Assistant Manager within the profession and have strong commitment to quality service, meeting expectations and achieving deadlines. Salary levels will be commensurate with experience, education and the ability to display exceptional communication skills.
Business Services Intermediate/Senior
UHY Haines Norton Sydney is seeking a motivated Business Services Intermediate/Senior with up to 5 years’ experience. As a Business Services Intermediate/Senior you will work closely with partners and seniors of the firm to provide business, accounting and tax services. You will have completed or studying towards a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or equivalent, have excellent oral and written communication skills and have a strong commitment to quality service and client relationships. Salary levels will be commensurate with experience, education and the ability to display exceptional communication skills.
